Dear Simmental/Fleckvieh friends, There are presentations from the Council Meeting and Regular Members´ Meeting held in UK in the download section on the web sites. We would like to inform you about the most important changes which brought the meetings too. After 34 years the international secretariat moved from Switzerland to the Czech Republic with Kristyna Skopalova named as the new Secretary General. During the elections of new presidency were elected Mr. Bruce Holmquist (Canada) as the President, Dr. Josef Kucera (Czech Republic) as the 1st Vice President and Mr. Bill Almond (Australia) as the 2nd Vice President.  20.10.2007 - News from the 27th Congress of the European Simmental Federation availableClick here and/or here Congress was held in Zagreb, Croatia, organized by Croatian Livestock centre - www.hssc.hr. During the 27th Congress of the European Simmental-Fleckvieh Federation a new president was elected. The position of the Richard Pichler (Austria) toke over Josef Kucera from the Czech Republic. Peter Polgar (Hungary) was elected as a new vice-secretary of the European federation. |
